Billy Jean needs a home by July 5th
27/06/2008 21:32 Filed in: SOS
This poor girl has been at the shelter too long.
Volunteers reported she seemed despondent and
uninterested in playing with toys. She got rough with
a staff member the other day so they are giving her a
one week deadline to find a home or a foster
placement. This sometimes happens when the dogs get
frustrated from their long confinement. Other
volunteers report that Billy Jean is a sweet girl who
plays well with other dogs, including females, and is
easy to walk on the leash and enjoys hitting the
trail. If you can help in any way, please email
billyjean@townlakedogs.com.

Kisses was adopted!!!
06/06/2008 23:07 Filed in: Happy Endings
After 3 months in the shelter, sweet Kisses was
finally adopted! That’s all we know for now.
Hopefully, we will get an update or more information
about her new adopters soon.
Update: The adopters had been coming in for months but had never noticed Kisses. When they finally met her and saw how sweet she was with their child, they fell in love. They couldn’t believe they had overlooked her so many times. Many of our running and walking buddies are overlooked gems, or at least diamonds in the rough. Come down and meet them and give them a chance.
