Keisha and Logan were adopted

Both Keisha and Logan were adopted today. We don't know Keisha's story, but someone saw Logan's flyer and came in to adopt him. Keep up the good work. The flyers can really make a difference.

Adopt a Running Buddy will have a booth at the Downtown Austin Farmer's Market again this Saturday. We won't have any dogs with us this time, but we will have flyers, information, adoption applications, and volunteers to talk with you. How posting a flyer saved a life - Lizzie's story in the Statesman

The Statesman has a great article today about Lizzie, a dog we featured back in December, and how the Adopt a Running Buddy program saved her life. It features great photos of Lizzie enjoying life with her new family - and even going for regular walks on the hike and bike trial. This is what it's all about. Thanks everyone.

New adopt a running buddy flyers and other news

Hi everyone. Adoptions always slow down in the winter and the shelter is full of long-stay dogs right now. These are all great deserving dogs who just need a little extra help to find the right home. Expect even more new flyers in the next few days.

The good news is that there may be a news article in the next week or so that mentions our program and features one of our success stories. This should be a great opportunity to spread the word.
