If you've read the Livvy updates you already know that APA has teamed with a local rescue group to take many of the long-stay dogs at TLAC to offsite adoption events. These events will let a lot more people meet the dogs and increase their chances of adoption. Some of the dogs won't return to the shelter but will live in foster homes. This is great news, but it means that you might not be able to find the running or walking buddy you saw advertised on a flyer when you get to the shelter. I thought our existing pet events calendar would be a good way to let people know where to find our featured dogs that are participating in this new program.
