Yeah. I'm pretty. But don't let the name fool you. I'm no parlor-sitting, lap-loafing, tea-drinking little pooch. I'm a trail-running, jeep-riding, mountain-climbing Dawg with a capital D. I'm smart, strong, vigorous, and an excellent retriever. I'll need some training to learn what you want from me, and TLAC says they'll help foot the bill for that. If you want a cuddly little thing, there's a bunch of those around here. But if you want a Dawg as your best friend, come help me bust outta here.

I'm delighted to be TLAC's Miss Congeliality! With perfect dog manners, I give play bows to every dog I meet and politely end a happy playtime by sweetly licking my playmate's face. I also love humans, and with my beauty queen looks, I will add a touch of class to my forever home. I'm a fantastic athlete who can jump fences too, so my ideal adopter will provide exercise and a safe environment where I will thrive.

If you give me a soft towel, I'll make a nest to sleep on. I'm a snuggly puppy who's spent my entire life surrounded by hard concrete; no people or other pups to play with. But I know there's a home with a soft bed for me! I already know sit and down for treats, and I love playing with balls and other toys. I need a forever home that will provide positive dog socialization, potty and leash training--and lots of love I can share with happy face licks.

Twyla has been through a lot, but it hasn’t hurt her sunny disposition one bit. She arrived with serious injuries (maybe hit by a car). But she’s on her way to full recovery. This favorite is a happy girl who’s affectionate with people, friendly to other dogs, and loves to play with toys. She’ll thrive in a home ready to provide structure and positive training. A brainy border collie mix, Twyla wants to know how to please you and loves staying busy and having a job. This lovable beauty will remind her forever home to find the fun in every day!

I am very playful, but I can’t seem to get my body to cooperate! You see, I have a condition that makes me overly sensitive to heat or strenuous activity. I still love to fetch, but it’s best to have me catch in the air close by, or fetch about a foot away. I am good for leisurely walks in cooler weather, but must be kept inside during the heat of summer. I am sweet and affectionate, and if you won’t play fetch, you can give me luvin’, which I adore. I am still young and occasionally want to play like a pup, but will adjust gracefully to my restrictions. The staff will happily explain further details about my condition, which is very manageable. I will be an awesome indoor companion at my new forever home!

The wonderful thing about tiggers is tiggers are wonderful things! In addition to my glamorous tiger stripes, I have many excellent qualities that make me a wonderful canine companion. First of all, I'm very obedient. Combine my eagerness to please with my obvious athletic skills, and I'm a great candidate for fun dog-human sports like agility. I'm also extremely playful, affectionate with people, and very friendly with other dogs. But wait, there's more. The most wonderful thing about tiggers is: I want to be the one for you!

If you could look into my golden eyes and read my mind, you’d know I’m trying hard to be patient while I wait for my forever home. But there’s just so much I love to do that it’s hard to keep waiting! I love walks, runs, sitting for treats, playing with my dog-buddies Zeke and Reggie, smelling all the world’s delicious smells and hanging out in the kiddie pool (I can even put my head under water and 'snorkel'). I can seem a bit independent, but get to know me. You won’t have to read my mind to see I’ll be your loyal companion for life.

Reggie's dignified demeanor and fastidious cleanliness make him a rather cat-like canine. Except unlike most felines, Reggie walks well on a leash and likes long strolls with his favorite humans. He also makes an excellent playmate for strong female dogs such as his best buddy Buttercup. If you're looking for a well-house-trained dog to enjoy excercise with, Reggie might be your perfect pal.

My name is Buttercup and it's possible that I'm part fish because I absolutely adore H20. Swimming, splashing and chasing hose water are my favorite pastimes. I also enjoy exhibiting my graceful gait on the hike and bike trail, playing politely with other dogs and fetching tennis balls as often as you will throw them.
